Main uses and scope of application
When there is a fault inside the user of T connection of 10kV overhead distribution line, such as the fault is in its inlet section, or the fault occurs inside the user's inlet switch, but the protection action time limit is not matched with the protection of the transformer substation's outlet switch, it will cause the transformer substation's outlet switch to fall off. If the fault is permanent and the substations do not coincide successfully, then an accident within the medium-voltage user boundary will make the entire distribution line lose power. This kind of accident which is common in the distribution network will cause a bad impact on society.
The user boundary switch is the appropriate equipment to solve those accidents. The equipment is installed at the responsibility cut-off point of 10kV overhead distribution line, which can automatically remove single-phase grounding fault and automatically isolate phase short-circuit fault. Ensure the safety of non-fault users.
FDR-2 user boundary switch controller is a special intelligent control for boundary switch body. The protection control function and communication function are realized. The controller and the switch body are electrically connected through control cables and aviation connectors to realize the protection and automatic monitoring functions.
